Counter Top Deep Fryer review

If you like deep fried foods and are tired of going out to get it all the time, you should consider buying yourself a good counter top . A good should have safety features to minimize accidents and injuries. Automatic shut offs and a plug that magnetically connects to the fryer so it easily disengages from the unit are very much a plus when it comes to having your own .

You can buy deep fryers that you can use outdoors to fry turkeys and boil or steam vegetables and other foods but when you want smaller quantities or the weather is not conducive to cooking outdoors you need a good counter top deep fryer. Do not buy one any bigger than you need. Consider the space you have and the amount of fried food you intend to cook on a weekly basis.

Be prepared to spend any where from around $50 to around $100 depending on the fryer you want. Of course if you are in the market for a commercial fryer for your restaurant you will pay upwards of $4,000 for the fryer that is right for you.

All fryers should come with baskets that hold the food for frying and should be big enough to accomodate large pieces of chicken or fish. There is a huge selection of fryers to choose from and you are sure to find a counter top deep fryer to fit your needs and budget.

The possibilities are endless when coming up with things to deep fry. Just like fair vendors who are trying anything and everything they can put on a stick, some people try out the craziest things in their deep fryer. How about a deep fried pickle? All you do is coat your pickle of choice with a tempura batter and fry it for a few minutes.

When I started researching deep fryers, I found many recipes that I never would have ever thought of. I may have to get myself a deep fryer just to try deep fried Oreo’s or candy bars. Sounds like an ooey, gooey, warm and melty treat perfect for a cold winter night, doesn’t it?

Apparently deep fryers are not just for chicken, fish, or shrimp and french fries anymore and that is wonderful. I like when people put their imaginations to work to expand conventional knowledge about a certain subject. Deep fryers are no exception.

Try battering up some vegetables for a new and different way to eat your veggies. Make a nice cheese sauce to dip them in and you may find you have a great new treat and your kids may just get to like eating their veggies. Try some broccoli and cauliflower in your fryer. How about some green pepper rings or even some fresh green beans? Sounds good doesn’t it? Deep fried garlic? Hmmm, not so sure about that one but it is worth a try in my counter top deep fryer.
